David Poland of MCN conducted an interview with director Tim Burton, the video of which is now online and can be viewed here after the jump. In this 40-minute segment, Burton talks about his latest feature film, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.
In other Sweeney Todd news, USA Today has a feature on Colleen Atwood and her costume designs for film.
Atwood, who also worked on Beloved, Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, and Burton's Sleepy Hollow, said that her inspiration for Sweeney Todd was the music (scored by Stephen Sondheim). "It's the starting point of all of it. It's a moody piece, so I wanted a lot of texture in the costumes.
