Two Exclusive Clips from 'Harry Potter'

Yahoo! has an exclusive clip from the upcoming film Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix called Proper Teacher, while AOL has its own exclusive clip here.



In "Proper Teacher," Hermione (Emma Watson) asks Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) to teach her and their friends how to defend themselves; in the AOL exclusive -- which you can watch here after the jump -- Hagrid tells Harry, Hermione, and Ron that there's a storm coming and that an army of giants may be headed their way.

'The Brave One' Theatrical Trailer

In The Brave One, Jodie Foster is a New York City radio host turned vigilante after a brutal attack leaves her severely wounded and her fiancé dead.

Jodie Foster (my favorite actress of all time) is so badass even when she's vulnerable, therefore, I must point out that the theatrical trailer for her latest flick can now be viewed in both standard and high definition formats at Apple Trailers as well as at Yahoo! Movies (better quality at Apple though).

The Brave One, directed by Neil Jordan and also starring Terrence Howard and Naveen Andrews, arrives in theaters on September 14, 2007.

'Beowulf' Posters Displayed at Cinema Expo

While no official images have been released online for the upcoming Robert Zemeckis-directed Beowulf, some promo posters were displayed at Amsterdam's Cinema Expo last week.

The performance-capture film has a script by Neil Gaiman and Roger Avary based on the Old English poem and stars Ray Winstone, Anthony Hopkins, John Malkovich, Robin Wright Penn, Brendan Gleeson, Crispin Glover, Alison Lohman, and Angelina Jolie.

Beowulf will be release in IMAX and conventional theaters on November 16, 2007.

HBO First Look: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

HBO did one of their "First Look" specials and this time it was for the upcoming fifth Harry Potter flick Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, which hits theaters July 11, 2007.

The show gives a behind-the-scenes look at the filming of the movie, interviews with cast members, and features never-seen-before footage.

'Good Luck Chuck' Trailer

I thought for sure I had posted this trailer already, being as I LOVE Dane Cook (please, don't be a hater cuz the guy's hit it big), but I realized I didn't.

In Good Luck Chuck, comedian turned actor Dane Cook stars in this romantic comedy as Chuck, the guy every girl wants to sleep with, because once they do, they then meet the man of their dreams. This is why Chuck is such "good luck." Chuck enjoys all that meaningless sex until he meets the girl of his dreams (Jessica Alba), but can't have sex with her for obvious reasons.

I'm glad to see Dane Cook get a leading role like this. He was great in the small part he had in Waiting, and the trailer for Chuck looks really funny. (Watch the trailer here after the jump.) But the movie poster? Ack, creepy. Yeah, I know it's a play on the famous John Lennon/Yoko Ono Rolling Stone cover, but it just doesn't seem to fit for this movie.

First Look: New 'Invasion' Poster

Cinematical has a first look at the new poster for The Invasion, starring Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig.

The teaser poster, teaser trailer (see both here), and the movie's official Web site design all have a stark, blue/green color scheme more prominent in modern-day thriller movies. But this new poster moves completely away from that and seeks instead to create a toned-down old-time horror poster feel with everything red and white except for Kidman and Craig's blue eyes.

At first, this film was to be a fourth version of the scifi class Invasion of the Body Snatchers, but Warner Bros. decided that their script, by Dave Kajganich, was original enough to NOT be considered a remake or a re-imagining.

The Invasion opens in theaters on August 17, 2007.

Generally, I don't appreciate negative sexual references, but I make exception for The White Stripes latest release, Icky Thump. After two huge, must-have albums -- Elephant and Get Behind Me Satan -- Jack White is back with his slamming riffs and whimsical, yet subtly insightful lyrics on The White Stripes sixth album. His ex-wife, originally thought to be his sister, Meg White once again matches his strong chords with surprisingly powerful and unconventional slams of her own. (Surprising for such a sweet, red and white piece of ass.)

USA Today has a first look at Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium, Zach Helm's upcoming fantasy comedy starring Dustin Hoffman, Natalie Portman, and Jason Bateman.
