Warner Bros. has acquired the rights to Bone, the popular indie comic book series by Jeff Smith, according to THR.
Released in 55 issues from 1991 to 2004, Bone follows the epic story of the Bone cousins, three humanoid creatures who are small, white, and bald with big noses. The trio, who were run out of their town Boneville by their pitchfork-wielding neighbors, find themselves separated and pursued by locusts and rat creatures. They end up in a fantastical valley, threatened by the evil Lord of the Locusts, and meet a beautiful young girl named Thorn and her mysterious grandmother, all of which leads to a grand adventure...continue reading this article at Geeks of Doom!
