Not only did he bring along what we now call The Brat Pack, he helped create the films -- The Breakfast Club, Weird Science, Sixteen Candles, Pretty in Pink, and Ferris Bueller's Day Off are among the many classic high school flicks that teenagers now look at today as classics. 'The Nines' Audio Commentary

Now this is cool.

John August has recorded and posted a downloadable audio commentary for The Nines, the screenwriter's directorial debut in theaters now starring Ryan Reynolds, Melissa McCarthy, Hope Davis, and Elle Fanning.

The audio commentary, which also features star Ryan Reynolds, was created to be downloaded into portable media players and listened to while watching the film in the theater (as opposed to waiting for this feature until the DVD release). The commentary will give the audience a chance to learn more about the creation of the complex story and gain insight into the film’s secrets.
